Monaco Energy Boat Challenge 2024

I had the opportunity to work on this project after touring the Yacht Club de Monaco facilities with my school and asking the right questions. They are one of the most sustainable yacht clubs in the world. Their Energy Boat Challenge invites students from all around the world to compete in designing and racing motorboats that utilize alternative propulsion such as solar and hydrogen. This event also serves as a place for the industry to showcase the latest in sustainable motorized boating.

Mission

My objective was to create a four kiosk exhibition with interactive displays to educate the public on alternative fuels, alternative propulsion, the history of innovation at YCM, and the event itself.

Vision

To create graphics that were informative but also interesting and engaging to look at. Working alongside an engineer, and researching article after article, I wanted to make this "boat load" of information easy for someone with no prior knowledge of sustainable systems to understand. 

Value

Gamification and interactivity makes learning more fun. It allows the user to navigate complex information with graphics and motion; creating a more meaningful educational experience.
